Happy Easter, this is Jenny with your Ocean Surf Shop surf update for Sunday, April 8th at 2:45pm.
Due to the holiday, the shop will have limited hours. We will be open from 11am to 5pm.
We just got some Billabong dresses, boardshorts and rashguards in, as well as Olukai flip Flops and Volcom boardshorts
Waves at the Washout are not looking too hot…it’s ankle high and choppy. Winds are out of the SSW @ 20kts. The tide is going out, it’ll be low at 3:44 pm.
The Edisto buoy is reading 3.3ft at 4 seconds…..nothing but windchop out there.
HIGH PRESSURE ACROSS THE WATERS THIS
MORNING WILL SHIFT SOUTH THIS AFTERNOON…THEN GIVES WAY TO A COLD
FRONT FROM THE NW LATE TONIGHT. WEAK HIGH PRESSURE TEMPORARILY
BUILDS IN MONDAY…WITH REINFORCING COLD FRONTS TO MOVE THROUGH
MONDAY NIGHT AND AGAIN TUESDAY NIGHT. HIGH PRESSURE WILL THEN
BUILD FROM THE NORTH THROUGH LATE IN THE WEEK.
Forecast for this week is looking dismal. No real waves expected…it’s looking pretty flat for us.
