Waves at The Washout are knee to thigh high with waist high sets.

It is semi-clean, and looks fun for the longboard or fish.

Winds are WSW at 5-10 knots. We expect west/south-westerly winds at 15 to 20 this afternoon, and surf should side-shore and choppy this afternoon averaging thigh to waist high.

Low tide will be at 12:52PM, followed by high tide at 7:27PM.

There’s a fun longboard or fish wave out this morning, but this should drop out early afternoon with the low tide, look for surf to pick back up in choppy conditions this afternoon as the tide comes in. We see increasing WSW wind swell keeping surf in the thigh to waist high range tonight and into your Sunday morning with light west winds in the AM. South-west wind swell continues, but fades some on Sunday. There are a few tropical systems to keep an eye on in the Atlantic, perhaps sending us some waves late next week.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “A weak trough will dissipate over the area through Saturday. Atlantic high pressure will then build in through much of next week.

It is 78* with clouds this morning. Expect rain and thunderstorms today with a high of 84*.
