Good Morning this is J. with your Saturday Jan 28th Ocean Surf shop surf report at 8 am

We just received a new shipment of Rusty’s in so come by the shop and check out the Dwarts, Hustlers and other models that came in.

Don’t forget we will be holding the Ocean Surf Shop Icebox Open during one of the last three weekends in February. It’ll be South Carolina’s first cold water surf contest, and it’s in conjunction with the Eastern Surfing Association. There are big money prizes, and the contest is open. At the washout the surf is running in the knee to thigh high range with an occasional waist set. The surf is clean with the winds out if the West north west at 5 knots becoming west at 10 to 15 later this afternoon.

There will be a high tide today at 11:09 am and a low at 5:11 pm.

The Edisto buoy is reading 3 ft at 8 seconds. That is down from yesterdays 10.5 ft at 7 seconds.

WEAK HIGH PRESSURE ACROSS THE MARINE

AREA TODAY WILL GIVE WAY TO A COLD FRONT TONIGHT. STRONGER HIGH

PRESSURE WILL THEN PREVAIL OVER THE REGION INTO THE MIDDLE OF NEXT
