Good morning, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Wednesday, March 13th at 7:30 a.m.

Waves at the Washout are knee high and weak.

Winds are East north-East at 10 knots, the surf zone has some texture on it today.

Look for winds from the north-east at 10 knots today, and we see drifty, small weak conditions.

Low tide was at 7:15 a.m. High tide will be at 1:13 p.m. The Edisto buoy is reading 3.6 ft at 6 seconds in a north-east wind swell.

We have Knee high choppy surf today out of the North-east.Swell should begin to rotate more on-shore Wednesday, building late day Thursday into Friday with a decent shot of semi-choppy south trade-wind swell filling in for late week. Surf looks smaller Saturday into Sunday.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “High pressure will build north of the region through mid week then linger into late week. A cold front will sweep across the region Friday evening and night. High pressure will return by early next week, then persist through the middle of the week.”

It’s 52* with sun behind the clouds this morning. Look for sunny skies today and a high of 68*.

Water temperature is around 62*.

With the time change, sunrise is around 7:32 a.m. and sunset will be at 7:25 p.m.
