Good morning, this is Bates with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Tuesday, March 12 at 8:30 a.m.
Waves at the Washout are knee to thigh high.
Winds are north at 15 knots, and surf zone is side-shore and clean, with a side-shore drift.
Look for winds from the north-east at 15 to 20 today, and we see drifty, small, choppy north-east wind swell building today.
High tide is at 12:16 p.m., and low tide will be at 6:35 p.m.
The Edisto buoy is reading 3 ft at 4 seconds in a north-east wind swell over a south-east medium period swell of 1.3 ft. at 8 seconds.
