Surf at the Washout is thigh to waist high, with stomach high sets. The out-going tide causing it to close out. It looks better at the pier, with wind waves breaking farther off the beach. The National Weather Service Marine Weather Forecast calls for ” HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN SOUTH OF THE WATERS THROUGH FRIDAY. A COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH FROM THE NORTH OVER THE WEEKEND AND MAY DRIFT INTO WATERS EARLY NEXT WEEK.”
