Good morning, this is Bates with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 8:30 a.m.

Waves at the Washout are knee high with thigh high sets. Perhaps a small long-board wave as the tide comes in late morning.
Winds are north at 5 knots, and surf is clean.
We expect winds to rotate to the north-east at 5 knots this afternoon, and surf stays a bit bumpy all day.
We have a low tide this morning, at 9:38 a.m. and high tide will be at 3:50 p.m.
Edisto buoy is reading 1.6 ft. at 5 seconds in small, short period east/south-easterly swell.
There is not too much surf in the forecast for today as dry high pressure dominates our weather pattern. We could see a bit of south-east swell on the late-mornin incoming tide Thursday and early Friday into the waist high range as high pressure moves east of the mid-Atlantic coast and pushes in a small trade-wind swell. Winds trend moderate north/north-east for the period. Hope for a long-board wave for Thursday. A cold front passes late Friday, and we see high angled north-east wind swell in the forecast for Saturday averaging thigh to waist high in choppy wind-swell conditions.

Winds are north/north-east at 10 knots, and surf is semi-choppy.
We expect winds to rotate to the north-east at 5 knots this afternoon, and surf stays a bit bumpy all day.
We have a low tide as of report time, and high tide will be at 2:53 p.m. The next low tide is at 9:08 p.m.

Good morning, this is Chad with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Sunday, November 26, at 8:30 a.m.      

Waves at the Washout are shin to knee high.  

Winds are N at 10 to 15, and surf is choppy.     

We expect NNE winds averaging 10-15 knots later today, and surf should be fairly choppy for the rest of the day.  

We have a high tide at 12:59PM, and a low tide at 7:24PM.

Edisto buoy is reading 1.3 ft. at 8 seconds in ESE swell.  

Hope everyone got their surf yesterday, cause today it’s shin to knee high today and choppy. There may be some better sets coming through later today as the tide comes in this afternoon. Minor ESE windswell traces to start the work week, but it’s looking like til mid week, the surf is gonna be pretty small.
