Waves at The Washout are waist to stomach high.

Winds are west at 10 knots, surf is clean and should stay clean for most of the day.  Surf looks fun early this morning.

High tide will be at 10:19 a.m. Low tide will be at 4:08 p.m.

Edisto Buoy is reading 3.3 ft. at 9 seconds in short period SW wind swell

Surf should average waist to stomach high today then decrease as the tide goes out midday.  Look for waves to possibly pick back up this evening in fairly clean condition. South-west wind swell should continue for today, falling off some by mid-week.  Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: Atlantic high-pressure will extend west into the Southeast coast while a surface trough remains inland early this week. A weak cold front will approach the area during mid-week before low pressure lingers into late week. Another cold front should approach the area this weekend.”

Good Morning. This is Bates with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for the Monday, July 24 at 8:20 a.m.
Waves at The Washout are waist to stomach high. There is a chest high peak, occasionally.
Winds are west/south-west – side-shore – at 10 knots, surf is semi-clean, but should go choppy late morning as south-west winds increase throughout the day. Surf looks fun early this morning, and there are not many people surfing.
High tide will be at 9:17 a.m. Low tide will be at 3:14 p.m. The next high tide is at 9:41 p.m.
Edisto Buoy is reading 5.6 ft. at 5 seconds in short period SW wind swell
Surf should average waist to stomach high today then decrease as the tide goes out midday. Look for waves to possibly pick back up this evening in choppy, drifty conditions with strong side-shore winds from the south-west. South-west wind swell should continue into your Tuesday, falling off some by mid-week.

Good Morning. This is Annie with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for the Sunday, July 23 at 8:30 a.m.

We have a whole new batch of Stewart, Gary Wilson and Jason Rowells in the shop. Come get one before hurricane season starts to heat up.

Waves at The Washout are waist to stomach high and slightly mushy/disorganized. It could improve on the outgoing tide as long as the wind doesn’t pick up too much more.

Winds are SW at 15 knots, and the surf zone is semi choppy.

We’re coming off of high tide at 8:21 a.m. Low tide is at 2:21 p.m. followed by another high at 8:49 p.m.

Edisto Buoy is reading 4 ft. at 4.5 seconds in SSW wind swell

Surf should average waist to stomach high today then decrease as the tide goes out midday.  Look for waves to possibly pick back up this evening, however strong wind could be an issue.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “A high pres ridge will persist just SE of the area through Thu night. A series of weak low pres centers will track E along a stationary front near the far N waters today through Mon night. A stronger low will pass NE of the area late Mon night into Tue night while pulling the front S across the N and central waters as a cold front. The front will become nearly stationary across the central waters Wed into Wed night, then return N across the area as a weak warm front Thu into Thu night.”

Good Morning. This is Chad with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for the Saturday, July 22 at 8:30 a.m.

We have a whole new batch of Stewart Surfboards and Gary Wilson boards that just landed in the shop. Also some new Jason Rowells short-boards are in the mix. Come get one before hurricane season starts to heat up.

Waves at The Washout are waist to stomach high. There is a rare bigger set. It looks it might pick up just a bit early afternoon as the tide pushes.

Winds are SW at 5 knots, and surf zone is semi clean.

Look for southerly winds at 15 to 20 knots later today, which will chop up the surf later today.

We’re coming off of a 7:36AM high tide, low tide is at 1:34PM and the next high tide will be at 8:06PM.

Edisto Buoy is reading 3.3 ft. at 9 seconds in long period south-east swell.

Surf should average waist to stomach high today with a possible larger set as the tide comes in late afternoon. We see small ESE trade wind swell mixing with long-period swell from tropical systems well to our south. Surf should pick up in choppy south-west wind swell Sunday into Monday.   Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “Atlantic high pressure will extend west into the southeast coast through this weekend as a surface trough remains inland. Unsettled weather will ensue toward the early to middle part of next week as a cold front approaches the area.”

It is 81* and sunny this morning.  Look for a muggy day with sun and some clouds with a high of 89.
