Waves at the Washout are waist to stomach and clean. There is a slightly bigger set. It looks fun out there this morning.
Winds are north-west at 5 to 10 knots. Wind is off-shore, and surf is clean.
We expect side-shore north winds at 10 knots today, and surf should stay fairly clean today.

Look for a higher east/north-east angle in the swell Friday and into the weekend, as swell fades some late in the holiday weekend. The holiday to have some rideable surf, so hopefully you can get away from family obligations and surf-off some of that turkey and stuffing.
Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “High pressure will gradually build across the area today. A series of low pressure systems will track from the northern Gulf of Mexico up the Southeast coast tonight through Friday night. A cold front will shift through the area Saturday night, followed by dry high pressure through the middle of next week.
It’s a cool 61* this morning and cloudy. Look for some sun behind the clouds this afternoon, and a high of 69*.
