Waves at The Washout are ankle to knee high. There is a rare bigger set.
Winds are variable at 5 to 10 knots, and surf is textured.
It looks OK for the longboard as the tide comes in this morning.
Look for winds to become south this afternoon at 10 knots, bumping up the surf zone.
High tide will be at 11:58 a.m. Low tide will be at 5:51 p.m.
Edisto Buoy is reading 2.3 ft. at 10 seconds in small, long period south-easterly swell.
Surf should average knee-to-thigh high this morning, then decrease as the tide goes out midday. Look for waves to possibly pick back up around dark in bumpy conditions with south winds at 10 knots. We see south swell average knee to thigh high to start your Friday, picking up in choppy south-west wind swell late Friday afternoon.
Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “Broad low pressure will remain across far Northeast Florida today as a cold front dissipates north of the region. Another cold front will move into the area this weekend, then stall offshore into early next week.”

Waves at The Washout are knee to thigh high, with a slightly bigger set.
Winds are north-west at 5 knots, and surf is very clean.
It looks OK for the longboard.
Look for winds to become east this afternoon at 10 knots, chopping up the surf-zone.
High tide will be at 11:05 a.m. Low tide will be at 4:59 p.m.
Edisto Buoy is reading 2 ft. at 11 seconds in long period south-easterly swell.
Surf should average thigh high today, decreasing as the tide goes out midday. Look for waves to possibly pick back up late this evening in bumpy conditions with east winds at 10 knots. We see south swell average knee to thigh high for Thursday, and surf picks up in south-west wind swell to round out your work week.

Waves at The Washout are waist to stomach high.

Winds are west at 10 knots, surf is clean and should stay clean for most of the day.  Surf looks fun early this morning.

High tide will be at 10:19 a.m. Low tide will be at 4:08 p.m.

Edisto Buoy is reading 3.3 ft. at 9 seconds in short period SW wind swell

Surf should average waist to stomach high today then decrease as the tide goes out midday.  Look for waves to possibly pick back up this evening in fairly clean condition. South-west wind swell should continue for today, falling off some by mid-week.  Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: Atlantic high-pressure will extend west into the Southeast coast while a surface trough remains inland early this week. A weak cold front will approach the area during mid-week before low pressure lingers into late week. Another cold front should approach the area this weekend.”

Waves at The Washout are waist to stomach high. There is a chest high peak, occasionally.
Winds are west/south-west – side-shore – at 10 knots, surf is semi-clean, but should go choppy late morning as south-west winds increase throughout the day. Surf looks fun early this morning, and there are not many people surfing.
High tide will be at 9:17 a.m. Low tide will be at 3:14 p.m. The next high tide is at 9:41 p.m.
Edisto Buoy is reading 5.6 ft. at 5 seconds in short period SW wind swell
Surf should average waist to stomach high today then decrease as the tide goes out midday. Look for waves to possibly pick back up this evening in choppy, drifty conditions with strong side-shore winds from the south-west. South-west wind swell should continue into your Tuesday, falling off some by mid-week.
