Good morning, this is Luke Da Kook with your Wednesday September 9th, Ocean Surf Shop, Folly Beach Surf Report and Forecast.

Surf is thigh-belly high in drifty ENE localized wind-swell. Some surf out there just have to contend with the wind and drift.  

Winds are Easterly at 10-20 mph today.

We just came off a high tide,  have a low tide at 1:09 p.m. High Tide is at 7:32 p.m.

Edisto Bouy 3.3 feet at 8 seconds from the east/north-east.

ENE localized wind-swell continues to shove some surf our way nothing great but there is some surf out there. High pressure slides more offshore later this work week look for winds to begin to rotate more SE and the wind should also back down a bit. Expect surf to drop a bit as this occurs later in our work week. Thurs morning tomorrow could be a time to target some leftover cleaner ENE wind-swell. For peak Hurricane season it’s a dead duck out there folks.

It’s 81 and sunny. Look for a high of 85* and rain moving in later today.

Sunrise is 6:58 a.m. and sunset will be at 7:36 p.m.
