Lots of Christmas gift ideas are here: Gift cards, Stance socks, Corkcicles, shop tees & hats, and lots more. Please come check us out at Christmas for that surfer in us all.

Waves at the Washout are ankle to knee high

Surf is semi-glassy.

Winds are west/ north-west at 5 to 10.

Surf should remain overall semi-clean today with winds from the west by late day at 10 knots. Later tonight and tomorrow morning we’ll see winds in the 20-25 knot range out of the SW.

We just came off a low tide at 8:12 A.M., and high tide will be at 2:35 p.m. The next low tide will will be at 8:44 p.m.

Edisto buoy is reading 3.9 ft. at 9 sec. in short period west/south-west wind swell moving up away from our beaches.

Waves are pretty cold and small this morning in west/south-west wind waves in semi-clean conditions. A dry cold front approaches on Tuesday and pushes up a very small west wind wave late Tuesday into Wednesday, this fades out late week. Not a lot of surf in the forecast with cold fronts approaching and high pressure set up over our marine area in between these fronts.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “A series of disturbances will move along a stalled front just south of the region through tonight. Strong high pressure will then build over the area this weekend into early next week. Another cold front will move through next Tuesday, with colder than normal conditions into late next week.”

It’s 39* with bright sunshine this morning. Look for a high of 58 today with sun.

Water temperature is now 56*. It dropped 4* since last week.

Sunset is at 5:13 p.m. and sunrise will be at 7:11 a.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
