We are in the doldrums of summer, with an inland trough to our west, and high pressure to our east, the best we can hope for is small, weak south-west wind swell. A cold front could move through the area Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, and we could see some small, choppy easterly wind swell. But until then, we don’t expect much surf.
Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “Atlantic high pressure will persist to the east while a surface trough lingers inland through the weekend. A cold front is expected to drop into the area Monday night, bringing somewhat cooler and drier air to the region Tuesday through Thursday.”
