Big ground-swell is here from Hurricane Dorian as it moves in our general direction over the next several days. The models have shifted Dorian more offshore of Florida and more towards the South Carolina Lowcountry. Either way middle of the week looks to have solid surf although tropical storm force winds will likely make for un-surfable conditions mid-week. Look for a quick clean-up sometime on Thursday right as the eye of Dorian moves north of our area. We will keep you posted, and stay safe.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “High pressure over Georgia and the Carolinas will weaken through Tuesday. Hurricane Dorian will approach the area from the south Wednesday and track near the southeast coast through Thursday. High pressure will return by the weekend. Refer to the latest advisory on Dorian issued by the National Hurricane Center.”
