Winds are light from the north, making for nice, glassy conditions, and surf should be good on the incoming tide through early afternoon.
We expect moderate winds from the east today, and surf shouldn’t get too choppy today, but look for some bump this afternoon.
We have a low tide at 9 a.m., and a high tide will be at 3:28 pm. The next low tide is at 10 p.m.
The Edisto Buoy is reading 3.9 ft. at 8 seconds in a medium-period south-east ground swell.
Surf looks like it will be fun at Folly today, with waist-to-chest high peelers expected. Groundswell from Tropical Storm Jerry should be filtering in today and building some tomorrow. Looking ahead our work week looks active as groundswell arrives and builds from Tropical Storm Jerry early week with lighter winds in the forecast and likely some fun conditions. Mid-week Look for newly named tropical storm Karen to push north over the Virgin Islands into our swell window and reinforce swell from Jerry. Also a fresh new wave off Africa looking healthy. Lots of action in the Atlantic for the next 10 days. Well keep you posted but safe to say well be surfing a lot.
