Looking ahead, tropical storm Karen will continue to push north of Puerto Rico and into our swell window over the next few days as it loops well east of our marine area. The storm is then predicted to move west into early next week, pushing in another sizable ground swell early next week – Monday through Thursday. There will likely be some wind on it early in the period, but surf could clean up some during the middle part of next week. Either way, more swell is coming. Also we have Hurricane Lorenzo in the Central Atlantic, but we’ll wait-and-see if it sends any surf our way. Lots of action in the Atlantic for the next week or so. Well keep you posted, but safe to say well be surfing a lot.
Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “A weak cold front will stall over or near the area today. This front will dissipate on Saturday with high pressure for remainder of the weekend into the middle of next week.”
