Good morning, this is Scott with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Sunday, October 31 at 8:30 a.m.
Surf at the Washout this morning is about knee high and clean.
Winds are west at 10 knots and will die down as the day goes on.
Low tide is at 10:35 a.m. and high tide will be at 4:47 p.m.
The Edisto buoy is reading 5.6 ft. at 6 seconds in a short period westerly swell.
There isn’t too much to talk about this morning unfortunately. Its small, clean and it has a side shore drift. If you go out, bring your biggest board. It doesn’t seem like we have anything great coming up soon but keep an eye on Saturday as it could be a fun morning.
Your National Weather Service Marine Weather Forecast for our area calls for: “High pressure will approach the area from the Deep South today and will linger into the mid week. A storm system will then likely bring unsettled weather later in the work week.”
It’s 55* and mostly sunny this morning. Look for a high of 72* today. Should be sun all day.
