Good morning, this is Eazy-E with your Ocean Surf Shop report and forecast for Tuesday, March 12 at 8:30 a.m.
Surf at Folly is completely flat, overall looking really gutless with this morning’s high tide, it is clean and looks like a good day to maybe hang on the beach and not surf.
Winds are W at 5 knots today and the surface conditions should remain glassy.
High tide is approaching at 10:16 a.m. The tide will drop out at 4:16 p.m.
Edisto Buoy is reading 1.3ft at 9.1 seconds from the ESE. Swell is moving away from our coastline. It’s 52* with sunny skies, look for a high of 64*.
The water temp is around 60*. It’s starting to warm up!
The NOAA Marine Forecast for our marine area calls for: “High pressure will prevail through Thursday night. A series of storm systems should bring some impact to our area beginning on Friday”.
Sunrise is 6:36 a.m., Sunset 6:23 p.m.
