Wednesday March 13
Clean.
Wetsuits at the shop are marked down 20% both 3/2s and 4/3s come get em!
Surf at Folly is completely flat, overall looking really gutless with this morning’s high tide, it is clean and looks like a good day to maybe hang on the beach and not surf.
Winds are light west this morning, look for winds to pick up slightly out of the SW later today.
High tide is approaching at 11:06 a.m. The tide will drop out at 5:02 p.m.
Edisto Buoy is reading 2.3ft at 4 seconds from the SW.
Surf is on the downside unfortunately as high pressure has made itself nice and comfortable over our marine area. This continues through the week. Weekend not seeing a whole lot either although a weak front pushes through on Sunday perhaps we will get a small SSW wind-swell as a result. Pray for Surf.
The water temp is around 60*. It’s starting to warm up!
Its 60 and sunny this morning, look for a high of 70* should be a great beach day.
The NOAA Marine Forecast for our marine area calls for: “High pressure will prevail through Thursday night. A series of storm systems should bring some impact to our area beginning on Friday”.
Sunrise is 7:36 a.m., Sunset 7:24 p.m.
That’s all from us at Ocean Surf Shop. We’ll check back tomorrow.
