Surf at Folly is knee to thigh to stomach high The surf does not look great but some energy is starting to show itself.
Winds are moderate out of the S-SW around 5-15kt today.
We have a low tide around 11:27 a.m., high tide to follow at 6:13 p.m.
The Edisto buoy is reading 3.6ft at 7 seconds from the SE. The surf is knee to stomach high with a bigger set here and there. There is some texture on the water from the SW winds blowing and the ocean seems to have a little more energy and push. Our friends at NOAA predict that, “the coastal waters of south coastal South Carolina and north coastal Georgia… High pressure will extend across the region early this week. A trough of low pressure could approach the Southeast U.S coast by late week.The water temperature is hovering right around 80. It’s currently 78 and sunny. Looks like we have nothing but sunshine today, with a high of 83.
