Semi-choppy
Surf at Folly this morning is knee to thigh with some light wind on it. Bouy just starting to pick up some swell. Incoming tide might have a bump up. Washout renourishment still going on.
Winds are light and variable today with unstable weather/tropical moisture moving in from the Atlantic.
We see SE winds today shifting around a bit.
We just came off a low tide at report time, high tide fills in around 1:35 p.m. with another Low at 7:31 p.m.
The Edisto buoy reads 3.6 at 8 seconds from the ESE.
Surf is trying to come back alive at the moment, dead low tide showing knee-thigh with the buoy just starting to wake up a little bit. A weak low trying to develop just off our coast along with a strong high pressure over the central Atlantic should keep some surf around for the next few days. Up to waist high sets.
The water temperature is hovering right around 82*.
It’s currently 82* and sunny mixed with clouds. We have unstable weather moving in from the Atlantic expect some rain squalls. of 87*.
