Good morning, this is EAZY-E with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Tuesday, October 8, 2024

We have plenty of neoprene jackets and spring suits. Come see them so you can get in the surf this week. It’s supposed to get chilly.

Surf has fallen in size a good bit from the beautiful head high sets yesterday was providing. There is still a nice stretched out waist high wave coming in at the pier if you can find a shoulder. The log-patrol is making it look fun for sure!

Winds are 5-10kt, increasing to 15 kt with higher estimated gust as the day continues.

We have high tide at 11:56 a.m , low tide will be at 6:22 p.m.

Edisto Buoy is reading 5.2 feet at 13 seconds in a long-period south-east swell.

Our boys at NOAA predict that, “Hurricane Milton will continue to track east northeastward across the Gulf of Mexico, eventually tracking across central Florida on Wednesday and into the western Atlantic by Thursday. High pressure should build across the region by late next week” .

It’s 71* and sunny. Look for a high of 80* today with some wind.

Sunrise is at 7:19 a.m., Sunset 6:56 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast. #follybeach #surfreport
