Wednesday Washout

Good morning, this is Easy-E with your Surf report for Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Not a ton out there to be surfed this chilly morning but it is for sure ridable if you MUST go. Sitting around the knee- waist high range with a good bit of texture coming from the North winds. Higher volume boards would be a better selection with all the neoprene on today too.

We still have a selection of items on sale with discounts up to 75% off. Stop by the shop and check them out.

The winds are currently coming from the N at 10 kt with gusts up to 15 kt as the day expires. Looking pretty wet today as the forecast calls for heavy rain pretty much all day.

We had a low tide early this morning at 6:04 a.m. The next high tide will be at 11:55 a.m., followed by a low tide just before sunset at 6:06 p.m.

Edisto Bouy is reading 3.6 feet at 9 seconds in an SE medium period swell.

Our guys and gals at NOAA predict a “A coastal low will track northeastwards off the Georgia/South Carolina coast today, with high pressure building into the region by end of the week. A broad area of low pressure off the coast will form on Sunday”.

The water temperature is around 54*.

It’s currently 50* and overcast. Expect rain all day with a high of 55*

Sunrise was at 6:59 a.m., and sunset will be at 6:09 p.m.
