Tuesday September 2, 4th street
Top of the morning to ya folks, this is Eazy-e with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for this beautiful Tuesday, September 2, 2025. There is a little bit of texture on the wave faces this morning due to the strong NE winds but every now and then it looks like a little chunky wave will flow through for the bigger volume boards. It’s super drifty but the sun is out, and the beach is empty so send that shit!
Come check out our neoprene selection as it starts to get cooler around this time of year, so you are stocked up and ready to charge when everyone else forgets to get theirs on the next swell!
On Fourth Street it is running about thigh to waist high on the sets. It is windy and drifty, so it will take some work and navigation, but could be rewarded with a block long left on the proper wave riding vehicle. Also, it is a little chilly this morning before the day warms up, so bring your top if you get cold easily.
Winds are NE at 10-15kt with gusts around 20kt. Winds stay NE all day and night into Wednesday.
Low tide is at time of report, and high tide will be at 4:31 p.m. The next low tide is at 10:50 p.m.
The Edisto Buoy is showing swell from the ENE at 2.9ft. at 7 seconds.
Our friends at NOAA predict a: “High pressure will extend across the area through late week. A cold front will approach from the northwest late in the weekend”. We can only pray some ridable surf is included with this front.
Water temperature is around 82*.
It’s cool at the beach this morning. It’s 71*. Look for a high of 81* and sunshine. Wind stays pretty steady all day.
Sunrise was 6:56 a.m., Sunset 7:44 p.m.
Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
