Happy Friday! This is Chachismo with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Fri, Nov 21st at 9 a.m.
Dear Waves,
We as a surf community are sorry. It wasn’t you, it was us. You were there for us and we just took, took, took. If you could come back we promise to do better. We won’t leave trash on the beach, we will say things to each other like “Hey, nice wave”, practice better etiquette. Heck, we will even go by a new board and wetsuit from the local surf shop just so we can spend more time together. We really miss you.😢 Please, just come back, ok?
Winds are 3 mph out of the WSW this morning. We see winds swing out of the southwest around 5-10 mph around lunchtime for the rest of the day.
High was at 8:15 a.m. Low tide will be 2:25 p.m. We have a high tide at 8:19 p.m.
The Edisto Buoy is showing 1.6 feet at 5.7 seconds out of the east/south-east.
It’s trying out there this morning, but really small. Possibly a longboard cruiser if you really, really need to get in the ocean. Winds pick up around noon out of the southwest so that will add some chop to it.
Water temperature is around 62*.
It is 60* this morning. Look for a beautiful day and a high of 66* and partly to mostly cloudy .
Sunrise was 6:55 a.m., Sunset 5:15 p.m.
