Good morning everyone. This is Eazy-E with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Monday, January 12th, 2026, at 8:45 a.m. The waves at the pier this morning very small and lack any kind of power or consistency. With the NE winds gusting 5-10kt and random 20kt gusts enter the chat room, along with 38* air temperature for the day, surfing may seem to be on the back burner today. Not a whole lot out there to get stoked on.

Come get those wetsuit needs before we are out and you are cold without any gear.

We are going into a high tide at 2:49 a.m. Tide is low at 8:57 p.m.  

The Edisto buoy is showing 6.6 feet at 6 seconds from the NNE.  

Our friends over at NOAA predict a: “High pressure builds across the area through Tuesday, followed by a cold front Wednesday night. High pressure then returns heading into the weekend”. This means we will see cold weather and lack of swell for the foreseeable future.

Water temp is 53*, so booties and a 4/3 suit would be best if you had it.

It’s 38* and cloudy this morning. Look for a high of 49* and mostly overcast today.
