Good morning everyone. This is Eazy-E with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Monday, January 19th, 2026, at 8:45 a.m. I am not going to sit here and sugar coat it for you, but Folly is flat. It is not surfable and if I happened to be a little GI-Joe action figure out there at 3rd reef folly today, I would still need a high-volume vessel to make whatever is out there catchable. IT IS FLAT GUYS! The 10kt winds from the W seem to give it a little texture and the 36* air temp is not helping the situation a ton either. Choose something else to do today folks, like fishing or something a little less swell dependent.
Come get those wetsuit needs before we are out and you are cold without any gear.
We are going into a low tide at 2:16 p.m. Tide is high at 8:11 p.m.
The Edisto buoy is showing 3.9 feet at 6 seconds from the SW.
Our friends over at NOAA predict a: “High pressure will build across the region today, then persist into the middle of the week”. That being said, we still need prayers and good vibes to get a little bump to form for us!
Water temp is 53*, so booties and a 4/3 suit would be best if you had it.
It’s 36* and sunny this morning. Look for a high of 49* and mostly sunny today.
Sunrise was 7:22 a.m. Sunset 5:40 p.m.
