Surf has picked up as forecasted. Trade-swell filled in overnight waist-belly-chest high sets on offer this mornings higher tide. Looks like a blast see you out there. Winds are light onshore.
We have a high tide at report time. We have a low tide at 2:39 p.m. With a high tide at 8:53 p.m.
The Edisto buoy is 5.6 ft at 9 seconds from the ESE.
High pressure sits well offshore producing a fun sized trade-swell. Waist to chest high surf on offer. The good news is that this should last a few days! We have a low then moving into our marine area late weekend that could set us up for another swell behind this trade-swell. Weve got surf!! Go get it.
Water temp is still around 53*, so boots/ and a 4/3 suit are still in order. It should start warming up in the coming weeks.
It’s 59* and cloudy. Look for mostly cloudy skies and a high of 64*.
