Good morning, this is Eazy-E with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Thursday, May 7th at 9:00 a.m.
Lots of new boards and new gear for men and women is arriving daily for spring and summer. Come get your swag game up like we all know ya need.
Surf at the Pier is knee high with Southwest winds looking pretty weak overall but enough to shove a log around. Overcast weather at the beach today and mostly cloudy with some chances of rain.
Look for SW winds today 10-15kts.
We have a high tide at 12:06 a.m. look for a low tide at 6:07 P.m.
The Edisto Buoy is reading 4.3ft at 5 seconds from the SSW.
Our pals over at NOAA predict, “A cold front will move through late tonight, then lift back north and stall over the region Friday through the weekend”. Unfortunately for us surfers this is only bringing some rain and some wind with little help for the ocean.
It’s 71* and cloudy with rainy spring weather. Look for some rain and wind with a high of 77*.
Water temperature took a little dive with the heavy rain. It’s around 68*.
Sunrise is at 6:28 a.m., and sunset will be at 8:06 p.m.
