Good morning, this is Luke Da Kook with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Saturday, Aug 15th at 8:00 a.m.
We have so many new boards in the shop
The surf at the Pier is pretty flat ankle high at best. Its clean early.
Winds are light/moderate out of the W 6 mph. Winds pick up out of the south around noon.
We have a high tide at 10:51 a.m. low tide at 4:52 p.m. .
Edisto Buoy is 1.0 foot at 6 seconds from the SE.
High pressure has control over our marine area and surf is down for the foreseeable future. Atlantic tropics are starting to show some life. Couple areas of interest are starting to pop up in the Atlantic although none are predicted to provide any surf in the days ahead. Still Its that time of year we begin to focus on the Tropics.
It’s a humid 84* with sunshine. Look for a hot 90* and sunny.
Sunrise is 6:42 a.m. and sunset will be at 8:06 p.m.
