Good morning, this is Luke Da Koook with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Sunday, March 30 at 8:30am.

Our used board rack is looking full, and you know you need that new stick for days like today. The water is still pretty chilly, and we have plenty of 3/2 wetsuits and spring suits to keep you covered.

Surfs looking fun again this morning waist to chest high semi clean fun lines. Pretty crowded as expected but overall feels great to surf again.

Wind is south/southeast this morning around 4mph with gusts up to about 11mph. Winds will pick up to around 12 knots are forecasted to swing around to out of the south by early evening.

High tide is coming up at 9:22 am with low tide at 3:19 pm

Edisto buoy is currently reading 5.2 ft at 9 seconds from the SE.

Trade swell has filled in nicely for us here in Folly showing waist to chest high. High pressure sits over Bermuda and our official first trade swell of the spring is here. This trend should continue this week we also have a front moving through Monday night we could have offshore winds Tuesday AM. Looking well ahead looks like we have continued surf of varying conditions. Pick your slots for sessions with wind and big tide swings this week.

Our friends over at NOAA predict, “Dry, high pressure will prevail through today, then rain and thunderstorm chances increase into Sunday and Monday followed by a strong cold front Monday evening.”

The water temperature is around 58*.

It’s currently 61* with a high of about 72*

Sunrise was at 7:11am and sunset will be at 7:38pm.

Thanks for tuning in for the Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast.
