9/25/2026 Washout

Good morning! This is Eazy-E with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Friday, September 25th at 8 am. Looks like the washout is super drifty but has some good-looking lefts with a solid bit of power. Sitting in the waist to stomach range with a few rogue sets in between. Overall if looks fun and the most energy we have had in a while. So, send it!!!

It got Chilly out but feels great!

We have a large stock of wetsuit jackets here at the shop, and with a north-east wind swell moving in for mid-week, you’ll want to cut the wind.

Wind is from the north/north-east at 15-25mph

Winds will become N 15-20kt keeping the temps cool near the coast.

We just came off a high tide at report time. have a low tide at 1:30 p.m. .  and another high tide at 7:47 p.m. to close the day out.

Edisto Bouy 6.2 feet at 6 seconds from the NE.

Our pals at NOAA predict, “An area of low pressure offshore will lift northward toward the New England coast through Saturday while high pressure prevails across southeast Georgia and southeast South Carolina through the weekend and into early next week” . The temps and humidity will be lower due to this low pressure.

Its 63 and sunny today winds are keeping it even cooler at the beaches.

Sunrise is 7:10 a.m. and sunset will be at 7:14 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
