We Have a few new Torq longboards and fun-boards that just arrived. Get them while we still have a few in stock.
New parking restrictions in place on Folly Beach. Please see the City’s Web site for more information. Construction taking place to build sea-wall at The Washout, too.
Surf at Folly this morning is flat and unrideable.
Winds are light and variable with high clouds off-shore. Surf is clean this morning.
Look for winds from the south south-west this afternoon at 5 to 10 knots adding a little more texture later today.
Low tide was at 6:56 a.m. High tide will be at 1:26 p.m., and low tide will be at 7:22 p.m.
The Edisto Buoy is only reading 1.3 feet at 10 seconds in long period.
We see small-flat surf to begin our work week. High pressure is right over our general marine area. High pressure shifts further east and looks to produce a small trade swell mid-week producing a thigh-waist high wave. Nothing to get to hyped about but something to surf. A couple of lows emerging off the coast of NW Africa entering the Atlantic worth keeping our eyes on as well.
Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “The region will remain positioned between Atlantic high pressure centered offshore, and an inland area of broad low pressure.”
It’s 79* with sun, this morning. Look for a high of 90* and a slight chance for a thunderstorm with hot sun today.
Water temperature is up to 87*.
Sunrise is at 6:38 a.m. and sunset will be at 8:09 p.m.
Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
