An Ocean Surf Shop gift card is a great Christmas gift for the surfer in your life. We can even take a credit card over the phone and mail the gift card for you, so come on by or give us a call at (843)588-9175.
We have re-stocked all of our cold water accessories, including booties, gloves and hoods, so come on by when the swell picks up this weekend.
Surf at Folly this morning is flat.
Winds are north at 10 knots, and surf zone is clean with texture.
Look for winds to rotate more North-easterly remaining at 10 knots.
We are approaching low tide at 10am. High tide to follow at 4:14 p.m
The Edisto Buoy is reading 3ft at 7 seconds in NNE wind-swell passing our beaches.
Its flat our there this morning on Folly ankle high at best. Things begin to pick up as high pressure lifts well offshore to our NW and produce building onshore flow for late Sunday into our work week. Winds could be a slight factor as they should be onshore, but shoulder high surf could be found on optimal tides early work week. This swell fades late Tuesday into weds before being reinforced with a stronger Easterly swell produced from a low that looks to push off northern Florida around Friday. Lots of swell on the way for Folly next week, keep your eyes on the flags.
Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “High pressure will build north of the area through tonight, with the nearby trough offshore Sunday. A warm front will lift north of the region Monday, before a cold front sweeps through Tuesday night. Strong high pressure will return Wednesday, before giving way to a storm system late next week.”
We have nice weather. It is 55* with sun this morning. Look for a high of 64* today with sun.
Water temperature is now 57*
Sunrise is at 7:07 a.m. and sunset will be at 5:12 p.m.
Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
