Surf at Folly this morning running knee to waist high and drifty.

Winds are from the north-north/east at around 10-15mph putting some texture and drift to the surf.

Look for winds to slide more easterly today around 10-15 mph.

We just came off a low tide a 6:44,  high tide will follow this afternoon at 1pm.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 6.2 ft at 6 seconds in a ENE wind-swell. The brunt of which is heading passed us to Florida.

Surf is currently waist high from the north/north-east, offering smaller, colder surf with drifty choppy conditions this weekend with surf in the thigh to waist high range for Today. North wind waves continue smaller on Sunday from the north-east. We see another disturbance approach for the early part of the work week making for some small easterly swell on Monday, rotating southerly again mid-week as another cold front approaches mid-week.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “High pressure will prevail through tonight. An upper disturbance will move through the region on Sunday, before a warm front lifts north through the region Monday night into Tuesday. A cold front will then cross the area toward the middle of next week, followed by chilly high pressure late next week.”

It’s chilly 43* and sunny this morning. Look for a high of 56 sun mixed with clouds later on*

Water temperature is 60*.

Sunrise is at 7:04 a.m. and sunset will be at 6:02 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
