Good morning, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Tuesday, February 26th at 8:00 a.m.
Surf at the Pier this a.m. are Flat-Knee high and clean.
Winds are light and variable and surf zone is nice and glassy.
Look for winds to pick up slightly out of the east today but overall winds should remain light.
Low tide was at 7:18 this a.m. and high tide will be at 1:31 p.m.
The Edisto buoy is reading a whopping 1.3ft at 8 seconds in ESE swell.
Surf is basically flat this morning and should remain so through the day. A good day to get some work and chores done. We remain flat until, mid-late week as a low departs off the coast. They have this low now showing a lot less intensity but still should push a rideable wave our way late week. Keep your fingers crossed!
Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “High pressure will prevail today. Rain is expected to return tonight and continue periodically through late week as temperatures climb well above normal. Unsettled weather could persist into next week as well although temperatures will be falling back below normal.”
It’s 52* and partly cloudy. Look for a high of 69* and clouds mixed with sunshine today.
Water temperature is around 59*.
Sunrise is around 6:56 a.m. and sunset will be at 6:11 p.m.
