Good morning, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Sunday, February 2 at 8:30 a.m.

A new shipment of Album surfboards has arrived, as well as some beautiful Epoxy Rusty 419 fish shapes. Come pick up a new stick and get ready for spring.

Surf at Folly this morning running flat to ankle high.

Winds are west at 10 knots, and the surf zone is clean as a result.

Look for west winds to continue through the remainder of the day 10 knots or less.

Low tide at 7:34 a.m and high tide will follow at 1:35 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 5.9 feet at 6 seconds in WSW swell moving away from out shores.

Surf has gone flat as previously forecasted for your Sunday. High pressure has settled itself over our marine area this Sunday and start of the work week. Resulting in flat surf. Mid-week looks to ramp up again with a decent shot of SSE swell from a strong front that looks to push through our coastal area. Friday things look to clean up after the fronts passage. We will keep you posted.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “High pressure will prevail through Tuesday night. A storm system will affect the area Wednesday night through Thursday night, followed by high pressure through next weekend.”

It’s 45* this morning and sunshine has returned. Look for a high of 62* with ample sunshine.

Water temperature is 54*. You’ll need at least a 4/3, and booties to be comfortable in the surf.

Sunrise is at 7:14 a.m. and sunset will be at 5:50 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
