Semi-choppy

Time of Report: 8:30 a.m.
Wave Forecast: Knee-to-thigh.
Traffic: Not too bad.

Dangers: None.

Good morning everyone from Ocean Surf Shop, this is Luke da Kook with your Friday, August 23 surf report and forecast.

Surf is about knee-thigh high in drifty ENE wind-swell. Couple small waves to mess around on keep your expectations in check. Its getting chilly in the mornings feels great outside.

Winds are currently NE 15-20mph making for semi choppy conditions with a little drift.

We have a low tide just before report time, High tide fills in at 11:37 a.m. Another low tide at 5:50 p.m.

Edisto buoy is reading 7.2FT at 7 seconds from the ENE

Surf on Folly again just some small short period high angled ENE wind-swell.  Winds remain NE for the next few days unfortunately most of this wind-swell is passing our shores and headed to Florida. This pattern continues for a bit, and not really seeing any relief. Tropics have turned quite for now as well. So this sucks.

Its cloudy with a chance of rain later on its much cooler out high of 80* today
