Good Morning everyone, Luke with your 8 a.m. surf report for Friday, August 30.
Lots of Fall gear and Neoprene filling up the shop floor!
Surf is ankle high, its really clean, and may get a little help with the incoming tide later this morning.
Winds are light south this morning, around 5-10kt. Look for winds to stay pretty low later today too.
We have a low tide at 11:52 am, High tide fills in at 6:27 p.m.
Edisto buoy is reading 1.0 FT at 9 seconds from the ESE.
Surf is still on the downside. This should trend into our weekend. NHC giving two disturbances in the eastern Atlantic a shot a developing. Im not to excited about either of them at the moment. Even if development occurs it appears the system would be south of the Caribbean island chain which would be unfavorable for our coast. Next week Im seeing a lot of ENE wind and unsettled weather just off our marine area so most likely we could see some high angled short period wind-swell mid week next week..
Its sunny and warm this morning 83* range and a high of 91* today. Sun is back.
