Good morning this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop report and forecast for Friday, December 22nd at first light.

Surfs is still here I cant believe it, thigh-waist high sets looks like it could get fun on the incoming tide push.

Winds are currently NNE at 5-10mph surf is clean.

Low tide is at 10:01 a.m. this morning. Our only high tide will be at 4:11 p.m.

The Edisto buoy is currently reading 4.3 ft at 12 seconds from the ESE.

Surf is still showing, this is the swell that never dies truly amazed. Surfs about thigh-waist high incoming could even further improve it. Looks like a fun day of surf. Swell is fading but gradually is an understatement. Few log waves are around over the weekend as this swell tapers off. Early work week we have a system that could get our surf going again as we get some light onshore flow nothing crazy but should be rideable mid-week knee-waist high range.

NOAA Forecast: “High pressure will prevail through the rest of the week. A storm system could bring impacts to our region early next week.”

Current water temp: 57*

It is 45* this morning with sun Look for a high of 60* sunny

Sunrise is 7:17 a.m., Sunset 5:17 p.m.

That’s all from us at Ocean Surf Shop. We’ll check back tomorrow.
