Surf is looking around thigh high, tide is really full at the moment once it backs out there could be a little wave for the high volume sleds. *Conditions will change later today.
Currently winds ENE 5-10mph winds forecasted to come SE 20-30mph later today.
We have a high tide at report time, low tide will drain out at 2:47p.m.
The Edisto buoy is currently reading 3.0 at 8 seconds from the SE
Surfs around thigh high at the moment, look for winds to begin to really pick up as today progresses as a strong front heads our way. Surf will build late today into tonight. Winds will rotate more favorably offshore late Friday night cleaning things up, that said Saturday morning is a highlighted time frame. Swell will fade out gradually Saturday and this trend continues into early work week. Long range still sniffing out a low that could develop just off our coast on Tuesday, models have backed off a bit since yesterday its something to watch.
NOAA Forecast: “storm system impacts the area Friday into Friday night. High pressure will return over the weekend. Low pressure could lift up the Southeast coast early next week.”
