Not expecting much out there today, it’s pretty small. We see cold temperatures and very cold weather for the next five to seven days with off-shore winds keeping surf small for South Carolina beaches late mid-week and into the weekend with very cold temperatures, especially this weekend. Looking a week out it looks like we may get some relief with a slow moving system from the northern Gulf that could generate some surf. We’ll keep you in the loop!
NOAA Forecast: “A strong cold front is expected to push through on Friday, followed by Arctic high pressure through early next week.”
Current water temp: 57*.
It’s 53* this morning with rain showers. We have a high of 61* and cloudy skies with strong winds.
Sunrise is 7:21 a.m., Sunset 5:38 p.m.
That’s all from us at Ocean Surf Shop. We’ll check back tomorrow.
