Good morning, this is Bates with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Friday, June 10 at 8:30 a.m.

Come see us at the shop. Summer is in full swing, and we have tons of new summer apparel for men and women here at Ocean.

Surf at The Washout is flat-to-knee high again today in a fresh easterly wind swell.

Winds are north-north-east at 10 knots. We see north-east winds at 10 to 15 knots veer east this afternoon. There will be small choppy wind-waves in the water today.

Low tide will be at 10:37 a.m., and high tide will be at 5:10 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 1.3 feet at 10 seconds in a small, long period south-east swell, with a small south-west wind swell on top of it.

We see south-west wind sell for mid-to-late week, and a typical summer weather pattern with choppy south-west wind swell in the forecast. Not much cooking out there swell wise for at least the next two days. We should see a stronger, choppy south-west wind swell Sunday into Monday.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our area currently calls for: “A cold front will linger in the vicinity into the weekend. Thereafter, high pressure will prevail through next week.”

It’s 77* and sunny this morning. Look for a high of 82* and a chance for a t-storm later today.

Water Temperature is around 82*.

Sunrise is at 6:11 a.m., and sunset will be at 8:27 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
