Good morning everybody, this is Luke with your surf report and Forecast for Friday, June 28st  at 6:45 a.m.

Surf at Folly is knee high maybe slightly bigger once the tide rolls in. Winds are currently offshore a little log wave on offer.

Winds are light offshore, look for winds to trend lightly out of the SE 5-10mph later today.

We have a low tide at 7:52 am. A high tide at 2:10 p.m. , another low tide at around sunset.

The Edisto buoy is reading 2.6ft at 9 seconds from the ESE.

Surf is around knee high or so with a plus set on the incoming tide push, nothing exciting but enough to get the logs moving. This should trend into our weekend nothing exciting. Invest 95L down in the eastern Atlantic is brewing up a bit. Models suggesting a named storm with a track taking it through the Lesser Antille Islands south bound of the Caribbean islands which is an unfavorable track for us. It looks to push westward towards the Gulf of Mexico and well have to wait and see where potential Beryl comes from there.

The water temperature is hovering right around 80*.

It’s currently 78 and sunny. mix of sun and clouds today high of 86*.

Sunrise 6:13 a.m., Sunset 8:31 p.m.

That’s all from us at Ocean Surf, check back tomorrow.
