Time of Report: 8 a.m.
Wave Forecast: Flat. Maybe knee.
Traffic: Not too bad.

Good morning this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Friday, June 2nd  at 8:30 a.m.

@follybeachwahine has 1 week left of accepting sponsorships and giveaways they would appreciate the support! Contest is July 29th-30th

Surf at the Folly around ankle/ knee-high and looking pretty weak overall.

Winds are north-east at 10+ knots, and surf is weak and semi-choppy.

We had a high tide before report time at 6:58 a.m. low tide drains out at 1:04 p.m  with another high to finish our day at 7:36 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 3.6 ft at 7 seconds in a short period period swell from the ESE.

Surf is currently ankle to knee high and weak. Surf unfortunately doesn’t look to improve much over the next several days. High pressure builds in over our marine area. The only shot of hope was TD2 that formed in the eastern GOMEX but our high pressure previously mentioned will block it out from entering our swell window. Go fishing.

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast calls for: “  High pressure will expand across the area from the north through early next week.”

Its 72* with a mix of sun and clouds look for a high of 76*

Water temperature dropped back to 70* with the short cold snap. It’ll be warm again before you know it.

Sunrise is at 6:14 a.m., and sunset will be at 8:19 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
