Good morning, this is Luke with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report for Friday, May 24th at 8:00 a.m.
We have a new shipment of Stewart Hydrocrush softboards in stock. These boards are not like your everyday driving softie. And the price on them is great. We sold out of our first run of eight boards in about three weeks. So come get check them out. We have Ripsters, Redlines and even the Pigme’ modles.
Lots of apparel hitting the floor this week for Memorial Day weekend!
Surf at Folly flat to ankle high no surf really.
Currently winds are light and variable. Winds will eventually go SSW 10-15mph.
High tide at 9:04 a.m. We have a low tide at 3:04 p.m., and a high tide at 8:54 p.m. today.
The Edisto buoy is reading 2.3ft from the SE at 8 seconds
Surf is pretty flat unfortunately and not seeing a ton of improvement this week. Memorial Day Monday, we have a system approaching and a strong large high pressure to our NE that should generate a quick shot of Southerly wind-swell into the thigh-belly high range.
Water temperature is hovering right around 75*, so spring suits and jackets are the call for mornings.
It’s currently 71 and sunny at the beach* Today we see a high of 84* and sunny.
