Good morning, this is Brad with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Friday, Nov. 1st at 8:30 a.m.

Come see what’s new for fall in for men and women in flannels and fleece tops from all of your favorite surf brands. We also have new Ocean Surf Shop hooded fleece in stock. All of our neoprene is on the floor as well, so you can keep surfing as it cools off.

Surf at Folly this morning is thigh high and glassy, with occasional waist high sets.

We have north-north-west winds at 5-10 knots. The swell is maintaining some form with a beautiful offshore spray.

Look for winds to continue north-west today with gusts reaching 13 knots.

We have a high tide at 11:55 a.m today, and a low tide will be at 5:17 p.m.

The Edisto Buoy is reading 2.0 ft. at 13.8 seconds for a long-period ground swell out of the south-east

Surf has continued to keep its form this morning with the arrival of a punch-and-go cold front producing thigh-waist high lines. There’s some serious potential for a little longboard ride at the pier this morning. Waves at the south side seemed more consistent than the north. This front also brought some much colder temps! It looks like another front will swing by the coast on Tuesday, producing some action for Wednesday morning. We will keep ya in the loop!

Your NOAA Marine Weather Forecast for our marine area calls for: “High pressure will prevail today through much of next week.”

We have sunny skies with light wind this morning, It’s 50* currently. Look for a high of 63 today.

Water temperature is still around 72*.

Sunrise is at 7:37 a.m. and sunset will be at 6:28 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with Ocean Surf Shop.
