Surf is about knee high, wind is on it out of the NE some drift out there, overall not looking very good.
Winds are coming out of the North-east at 10-20mph surf is drifty
We will have a low tide this morning at 9:27 a.m. Expect a high tide this afternoon at 4:20 p.m.
The Edisto Buoy is currently reading 5.6 ft at 6 seconds from the ENE.
Short period high angled NE wind-swell is in the cards for today, overall again not looking to hot.. Low pressure sits just NE of us just out of our swell window. More small ENE wind-swell into Monday morning. Unsettled weather moves in mid-late work week some models sniffing a low developing offshore. FINGERS CROSSED, we need this. This is not ok. Report back tomorrow morning hoping models jump more active on this potential low.
Our friends at NOAA are predicting: “A cold front will pass through today, before stalling to the south late weekend, then remaining nearby into next week.”
Water temperatures are sitting at a toasty 85*, basically soup. Bring your board and possibly a baguette to go along with it.
It is currently 78* and cloudy. Look for a high of 85* with clouds and some possible rain.
Sunrise was at 6:34 a.m. and the sunset will be at 8:16 p.m.
