Surf at the Pier is knee to maybe thigh high, winds are on it pretty good out of the SSW. Little longboard fun to be had. Beautiful beach day shaping up.
Winds are moderate SSW 10-20mph today.
We’re approaching high tide at 10:36 a.m. Look for a low tide this afternoon at 4:12 p.m.
The Edisto buoy is reading 3.3ft @ 8 seconds in a short period swell out of the ESE swell.
Surf has dropped since yesterday knee to maybe thigh high. Surf should continue a fading trend knee high slappers looks to be in the cards for the foreseeable future. Not seeing a ton of relief at the moment. Pretty fun last few days though.
Our guys and gals at NOAA say, “Broad high pressure will remain across the area through early next week, resulting in generally hot and dry conditions”. Pretty much means real summer like weather is upon us so enjoy these nice cool breezes while we have them!
It’s a beautiful day out for a change on the island. It is currently 74* and sunny. Look for sun all day with a high of 78*. Get your lazy ass up and go move a little on this gorgeous day!!
