Y’all come check out our selection of neoprene. The waves are going to get good early next week, and you’ll want to be warm for early morning – or late afternoon – sessions.

Surf at Folly is about knee-thigh high in high angled NE swell. Little wind on it decent high volume wave coming through.

Winds are light north-east and will pick up at 10-15+ mph, and surf is somewhat clean, but should begin to get choppy later today.

We have high tide at 9:36 a.m , low tide will be at 3:51 p.m.

Edisto Buoy is reading 4.3 feet at 9 seconds out of the east south-east.

Small Easterly swell in the water enough to get wet this morning for higher volume boards. This should continue into your Saturday. Sunday afternoon we have Hurricane kirk that should shove a pulse of SE groundswell our direction and build into Monday. Behind Kirk is Tropical storm Leslie to watch. Also NHC keeps a chance of development in the Gulf at 40% Models have been extremely consistent on a low developing weather it’s a named storm or not we should see surf from this system around Tuesday of next week where models suggest it moving off Southern Florida. Lots to watch in the coming days but Im liking the way next week is shaping up.

Its Sunny and pleasant outside high of 84*

Sunrise is at 7:15 a.m., Sunset 7:01 p.m.

Thanks for checking in with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast. #follybeach #surfreport
