Good morning, this is Luke da Kook with your Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast for Friday, December 27, 2024 at 830 a.m.

Semi-choppy

Time of Report: 8:30 a.m.
Wave Forecast: Knee-Thigh+
Traffic: Not too bad.
Parking: Some.
Dangers: None.

Surf at Folly looking knee-waist high little wind and drift to it from the NE. Lots of east in the swell, later today tide push could help get that energy in.

High tide was at 5:13 a.m.. We have a low tide at 11:30 p.m with another high tide at sunset

Bouy is reading 7.2 feet at 7 seconds in a short period ENE swell.

High pressure is sliding off the New England coast this morning, look for winds to start coming more SE later today and swell will gradually make that same more favorable rotation NE to SE for us. That said knee-waist high surf today into tomorrow with light onshore winds. Sunday we have a System/front moving through bringing stronger southerly winds and growing south wind-swell. Unfortunately this front looks to move out Sunday night where winds will clock around more out of the West for the cleanup, hopefully we have some leftovers Monday morning. Weve got surf

The water temperature is around 54*.

It’s 54* with clouds and rain with a high climbing to low 60s

Sunrise was at 7:21 a.m., and sunset will be at 5:21 p.m.

Thanks for tuning in for the Ocean Surf Shop surf report and forecast.
